Spy Code – Operation: Escape Room |REVIEW|

I like to think myself bit of a mystery solver. Put on an episode of Sherlock Holmes and I am in my element! The girls are just the same, if were trying to solve who ate the last of the chocolate biscuits they’re very good at coming up with back stories, alibis and their own conclusions. When Smyths got in touch and asked if we would like to try out Spy Code – Operation: Escape Room by Yulu Games I thought it would be a great opportunity to put our spy skills to the test! The aim of the game is…

A Care Bear Care Package

Life is certainly running at 100mph at the moment. With work, blogging, youtube, school runs, clubs, gym, relationships and friendships all being squeezed into those precious 24 hours I am often guilty of putting myself last and running around after everyone else. Last week a very special package arrived for the girls and I. A Care Bear Care Package! An Oddbods day out!

On Wednesday the girls and I were invited into Bournemouth to enjoy some fun with the Oddbods! Despite living just half an hour down the road in Poole the girls and I rarely venture into Bournemouth as a family so it made a nice change! Theres nothing quite as interesting as being by the coast with balloons and chasing them up and down the pier as they escape. For those of…

Sightseeing Adventures with Paddington Bear

Paddington Bear is a long standing favourite in our household. We love the films, the books we have and just generally love Paddington – who doesn’t? The girls were recently sent the new Paddington Bear sightseeing adventure board game. Immediately we decided to have a Paddington themed evening. We watched the DVD ate sandwiches (jam though my kids aren’t fans of marmalade) and played out new board game! It’s a great concept and really easy to play; the aim is to get your Paddington back home to 32 Windsor Gardens. As you  travel around the board you’ll visit all the…

So Slime DIY |Review|

I know it’s not just my girls that are obsessed with slime at the moment, it seems to be a new craze taking over all of children kind. When ever we spot it in a shop the kids go mad for it. So when Canal Toys got in touch and asked me if I’d like to test out their SO Slime DIY kit I knew it would be a huge hit. We have had ago at making it from scratch before, lets just say it didn’t go quite to plan. Having everything you need in the kit was just ideal…
