Win £30 to spend at Petit Fernand

Last week I posted my back to school essentials list – with Maisy starting school in September I have been thinking a lot about what she will be needing – there’s a ton! One thing that sometimes slips parent’s minds but is an absolute essential is name labels. I mean what is the point in forking out a small fortune on new uniform/shoes/bags/books for it to get lost within the first week never to be seen again? There isn’t. Last Wednesday me and Lottie hopped on the train (or more accurately I struggled with a baby in arms and a pushchair) to London. It was my first time taking Lottie on a train anywhere so I was a little bit nervous to be doing over 2 hours for the first time -what if she screamed the place down or refused to sit still! Thankfully she was good as gold. The journey was fun – we played, did a bit of colouring and Lottie shouted ‘OOOS AT’ (who’s that) when anyone walked past.  The point to our little visit up…

An afternoon of kids fun with Baker Ross

What do you do on a Sunday afternoon when the roast is done and the kids are getting a little restless? Little walk? Trip to the park maybe? Snuggle up on the sofa with a film? All great ideas but this Sunday we decided to have a bit of a messy afternoon and got busy with some crafts thats had been sent to us by the lovely guys at baker ross! We started off with some Soft Dough (very similar to play doh) in the garden it was sunny and it saves my floor so it made sense to get them out…
