Garnier – Micellar cleansing water

On a recent shopping trip to boots stocking up on the essentials I thought I’d rebel a little and try a new cleanser, I was after a cleansing balm but then this caught my eye properly because it was in a three for two and I do love a bargain. Forever I have been using just a normal cleansing lotion and it does the job but as I was having a wild day I went for the Garnier micellar cleansing water ooo I know sounds interesting. Reading cleansing water I thought am i just being conned out of a fiver for a bottle of water? probably.  What is micellar? I don’t no but it…

parenting torture

Some days I do question whether my sweet innocent children are in fact that or mini trained assassins put on the earth to torture me.Firstly it’s the sleep deprivation 4:50 was not the time I wanted to be woken up this morning but now that they out number us it is completely impossible to get them back to sleep. Farmer Palmers

Its been a lovely sunny day down here so we headed off to farmer palmers for some fun this afternoon, Farmer Palmers is a great farm park in Poole, Dorset. With a long list of activities going on everyday including meet and hold a guinea pig, pony grooming, bottle/hand feeding lambs, cow milking demonstrations and tractor rides there’s so much to do, I would advise to go for a…

Silence..

Silence is golden, unless you have toddlers and then its just suspicious.Back in simpler times before the little monsters arrived silence often meant to me boredom, I didn’t like staying in I always wanted to be out doing things having fun with my friends. Not content with my own company I know look back on these days and kick myself why did I not make the most of these times what I would give for a cup of tea or even a shower in peace and quiet. The little things you take for granted before children now feel like massive achievements. After Maisy was born I…

Poorly me

This last few days have been actually awful, I’ve had a a terrible bowt of tonsillitis and with 2 lively toddlers and a baby this is my worst nightmare. I felt helpless I spent the first day adamant it would be gone by the next day in between popping paracetamol curled on sofa and crying over how pathetic I felt. Luckily I had my other half to look after me and the children. By day 2 after being up half the night in agony and still having a raging temperature that would not go down I headed to the docs…
