Autumn muffins

You may have spotted a recent post I wrote as part of the Tesco eat happy project when the girls and I got busy cooking along and making some delicious falafels. We had so much fun making these the girls just love getting involved with cooking so when we we’re asked if we would like to try some of their autumnal recipes we jumped at the chance. Pumpkin picking

On Monday the girls and I headed off to Sopley Farm in Christchurch for bit of pumpkin picking. This is the first time I have ever been to a pumpkin patch I didn’t even realise there was one in Dorset until I started seeing some photos pop up on friends Instagram’s. We’re not overly big on halloween but we always do a pumpkin or two so this added to the fun of it, actually going out and picking our own pumpkin made it so much more exciting for the kids. Thing’s I have learnt from the first half term at school

So today is the end of the first half term of big school for us! We are now in full swing of school life  and I thought I would share some of the things I have learnt from our first half term of school.. Your child will be absolutely shattered 95% of the time that they are actually with you, school is so different to nursery and it hits them like a ton of bricks. It’s nearly half term..

Next week will be half term (mini celebratory dance). This term has been our toughest yet. Maisy started reception in September and I have never seen a little person more in need of a holiday. I mean you think you know tired when you have a newborn but I really feel for this little girl of mine she’s absolutely exhausted.
