Bella Turns 5!

My baby Bella you are 5 years old today!  This time 5 years ago I was probably trying to negotiate ‘just a little bit’ more pethidine out of the midwives – Saying ‘please I wont tell anyone’ does not work just FYI.  It was all so worth it. You gave us such a scare when you were born no breathing straight away it was terrifying seeing everybody flap about, pressing buttons and calling doctors. Wintery Beach Walks

Once again I find myself miserable with a cold. I hadn’t’ been able to shake the last one from back in December, so to find myself feeling crappy again really isn’t the best. Being ill with children means you don’t really have the time to be ill at all. You dose up, you suck it up and you carry on with your day. Thursday’s are always Mummy and Lottie day’s. She has no nursery, I don’t work that day at all if can be helped, so we head off to do something fun together. Cold or no cold it was…

From the car park there is a 10 minute walk to get up the the castle itself it’s a nice little…

I miss the giggles, those little baby giggles that seem to last for hours and hours, usually just brought on by a look in their direction and almost always at bed time when you’re trying to settle them…

I am by no stretch of the imagination a parenting expert but I do have children, three to be precise. The answer I give for 95% of queries is .. keeping a routine whether thats bed time, dinner time, tying to get your children to read with you more – I find a routine is key. Children enjoy consistency. This christmas…
