I am a self confessed chocoholic. I love the stuff whether it’s morning noon or night to me it is always a good time for chocolate. So when I was invited to attend a chocolate buffet at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel in Bournemouth recently it was a no brainer. A chocolate buffet is my idea of heaven and I couldn’t think of anywhere I would rather be on a Sunday afternoon. The Cottonwood Boutique Hotel hold this special chocolate buffet once a month and it is definitely worth a visit if you are as big of a chocolate fan as I…
I love to travel with the children, taking them to visit a new town or city is an exciting experience for us all. With it often just being me and them, UK breaks are so much more feasible than going abroad. In the days before children I wouldn’t have really considered the UK as a top holiday destination but since growing my brood I have really had my eyes open and can see really we have everything we need on our door steps (okay maybe a few hours drive) available to us. When we holiday in the UK my first…
I received a letter through the door last week informing me I need to apply for Lottie’s school place for next year. I almost choked when I read it. Although I knew it would come.. Lottie is my baby; she’s so dinky still and despite telling me all the time she is a big girl I can’t bare…

As I had no idea what we were expecting we went with a completely open mind and just got stuck straight in with exploring and activities. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is massive! If like me you are newbie don’t be afraid to go…

I find it easiest to plan ahead and break it up with a few trips or bigger(er) days out here and there and then add in the play dates, park days & beach trips. Before you know it your schedule is pretty full and the kids are happy! So that is one of the reasons I booked in a couple of days away for the kids and I in London. It was our little girls trip and we had so much fun! Hotels in London aren’t…
