I received a letter through the door last week informing me I need to apply for Lottie’s school place for next year. I almost choked when I read it. Although I knew it would come.. I am just not ready. The thought of my youngest girl going off to school actually breaks my heart. I didn’t have this feeling with Maisy and Bella, they were the big sisters and more than ready for their big school adventure. Lottie is my baby; she’s so dinky still and despite telling me all the time she is a big girl I can’t bare…
A few weeks ago now the girls and I were invited to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for a fun family day out. Despite being just an hour away I had never heard of it! Everyone I seem to mention it to since says ‘oh yes we’ve been’ or ‘we’ve thought about going’. So I really must of been living under a rock! As I had no idea what we were expecting we went with a completely open mind and just got stuck straight in with exploring and activities. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is massive! If like me you are newbie don’t be afraid to go…

With perfect timing I was asked if I would like to try out the new Knoppers snack which is just being launched in the UK! Knoppers is made with crispy baked wafers, a milky hazelnut filling and a chocolatey wafer coating –…
The 6 week holidays is a long time for us parents to entertain the kids. I find it easiest to plan ahead and break it up with a few trips or bigger(er) days out here and there and then add in the play dates, park days & beach trips. Before you know it your schedule is pretty full and the kids are happy! So that is one of the reasons I booked in a couple of days away for the kids and I in London. It was our little girls trip and we had so much fun! Hotels in London aren’t…
