The time has come, that time I dreaded; Baby Lottie is crawling! Its now 3 against one in this house and I really don’t stand a chance she isn’t doing the traditional form of crawling (you know on her knees) she just drags her self along the floor in a commando sort of way but it gets her from A to B and means she can cause a lot of trouble. Now nothing is safe and she no longer stay still for for than a minute or 2. This is where I found her earlier playing with a potty. (Before the bad mummy brigade come at me…
Last week I made these really simple fruity buns, they were really quick to make and use simple ingredients your bound to have lurking in the cupboards so I thought I’d share the recipe. Ingredients (makes 12) 225g self raising flour 100g butter 100g caster sugar 1 egg 1 tablespoon milk 50g jam (any flavour) Method Firstly you’ll need to grease and line a baking tray. Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl, cut the butter into small chunks and add to the flour. Using fingers, rub the butter into the flour until it looks like bread crumbs. Stir in the sugar. Separately whisk the egg…
Today Maisy started her ‘big girls nursery’ as she likes to call it. We’ve been waiting for the day for months ever since she got her letter offering her a place I’ve been so excited. It seemed like the next obvious step going from a couple sessions a week at a private nursery to the ‘big’ nursery as the school which she now will be attending every single morning and wearing her super cute looking school uniform. In her uniform We spent a lovely afternoon a few weeks ago trolling round the shops together choosing it all it was such…
Lottie’s growing so quickly at almost 7 months now her 3-6 month wardrobe is starting to get a little tight on her so I’m starting to get a few bits in 6-9 months as she starts fitting into them. There seems to be such a huge difference in the two sizes 6-9 months still hangs off her so the bits I’ve been getting are more A/W as before we know it it’ll be getting cold again! So first up last week we headed to mothercare I still had some vouchers to use up that I was given when she was…
Yesterday we got back from out first little trip as a family of 5, I’m not going to lie before we left I was bricking it I had visions of the kids running riot losing them in a busy resort, them getting bored and hating the food. But I was so pleasently suprised it was brilliant we had such a great time. We we’re staying at butlins, Bognor Regis in the ocean hotel; the room itself was nice comfortable beds, little fridge, cupboard space, iron and hair dryer tea & coffee facilities all in there already. The girls had there…
