Maisy (4 years 7 months) July was a big month for Maisy, she has finished nursery now and we are currently enjoying the summer holiday’s before she starts reception in September – she’s very excited to be becoming a Lobster (class name) and I just want to sob a little. The most exciting part about leaving was the huge folder full of art work she got to bring home she proudly showed me each piece 90% was covered in glitter but that’s Maisy for you! July also brought sports day which was amazing to watch her first ever sports day…
This week we have been set a task by Pampers and that is to not fear the mess and really put their sensitive baby wipes to the test as part of their new #pamperspooface campaign. Thankfully she was good as gold. The journey was fun – we played, did a bit of colouring and Lottie shouted ‘OOOS AT’ (who’s that) when anyone walked past. The point to our little visit up…
Next wee the girls break up for summer – I am really looking forward to a few weeks off the mad mornings to get them to nursery on time, no doubt the kids will still be up at the crack of dawn but I won’t be running around like a lunatic everyday to get us all looking semi presentable and out the door by 8am. This is going to be my last summer before Maisy starts her first year of reception – there will be no more spur of the moment mid week days out (not unless I want a fine…
