31/08/2020 – 23:38 -The moment my beautiful baby girl Elsie came into the world. This is my birth story. The day before Elsie was born I went into the hospital for a general check up. The midwife I saw wasn’t 100% happy with babies heart rate as it kept spiking when I was having tightenings. I was put on the monitor for half an hour to get a proper trace and the doctor came to see me. Hello world.. My name is Elsie. After a long pregnancy, most of which was spent in lockdown I gave birth to my beautiful little girl on 31/08/2020 at 23.38. She was determined to be a bank holiday baby. I am now 12 days into life as a mum of four and absolutely loving it. Elsie has swept in and stolen all of our hearts – and all of mummy’s sleep! Yes I am that mum. This pregnancy has been the craziest experience of them all thats for sure. We found out I was pregnant on the 23rd December 2019. I will never forget the date as we were all traveling up… View Post

As crazy as it sounds when I first found out we were expecting nearly 8 months ago it seemed such a long way off I didn’t really think about it too much. With the pending house move, three children to look after, work and then the added craziness of Covid-19 being thrown into the mix up until now I haven’t really thought too much about the birth. Last week my midwife called and we went through… View Post
