We were recently sent the newest in a learning project and picture book series from QuestFriendz called The Adventures of Lillicorn In WooWoo Land.
The book, which is designed to promote and encourage STEM skills in young children has been a huge hit with Lottie in particular so I wanted to share it with you guys and the team and QuestFriendz have also given a copy for me to give away so if you like the sound of it for your little one you can enter below to be in with the chance of winning.
The stories main character is a little girl called Lilli who is intrigued by science, and loves to conceive new experiments and inventions. In her dreams at night, she transforms into Lillicorn, a superhero, and teams up with friends as they travel to distant lands and figure out innovative solutions that save the day.
The rhyming story book is designed so that children can solve ten different STEM quests and earn collectable charm tokens (provided in the book). It’s an exciting way for children to learn fundamental STEM skills at an early age, as well as develop 21st century learning skills (the 4Cs – critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication).
My girls love reading and they love puzzles so combining the two in the book is amazing! It kept them busy all afternoon. The bright colours and fun activities kept them so engaged. It was so nice to see them working together to figure it out. The book and quests were more geared up to Lottie’s age range but Bella and Maisy did also enjoy reading with her and helping her to solve the quests.
The book is such a great quality as well I love how thick and durable it is. I also love that you store all the tokens in the back keeping it neat and tidy and ensuring you don’t loose any next time you come to use the book.
The Adventures of Lillicorn In WooWoo Land is a fantastic edition to our book collection one that the girls will get loads of use out of and pass down to their baby sister when she is old enough.
To win a copy for yourself enter below; the competition will end 07/08/2020. One winner will then be selected at random – UK entires only.
