Goodbye May, Hello June

June is here! I loved writing a little monthly round up last month and setting some goals so I am going to make it a regular thing!

The theme of the month for June is going to be CHANGE – big changes are ahead. I am starting a new job! Eeeek, I am so excited for this new chapter in my life, it’s a big step up for me and I am so ready to take the next step in my career. It is longer hours so the home dynamic will change a little but the girls are also really excited for me.

A look back at May

The month started off with a relaxing spa day with some of my favourite bloggers at The Solent Hotel and Spa it was so lovely to have a catch up with friends and explore the spa!

My friend and I arranged the most magical sleepover party for all the kids – oh my goodness they had the best night ever in their little teepees! It was so much fun. It took us all a couple of days to catch up on the lost sleep but it was so worth it to see those little happy faces. Huge thank you to dream catcher sleep over parties for making it so special.

James and I jetted off to the stunning island of Corfu for 5 days of sun, cocktails, more sun and just pure relaxation. We needed it, it was our first proper holiday just as a couple and it was lovely to spend that time together. I missed my little ladies so much but they were busy having fun with daddy and that side of the family. I did get the best cuddles when they got home though!

May was rounded off with lots of celebrations. It was my 27th birthday and I also had a couple of friends birthdays too so lots of bbq’s, meals out and dancing! My birthday was lovely I spent time with my family, had a night out with friends and got truly spoilt by my girls and James.

I set some goals last month and I am quite pleased to report I actually ticked them all off – I took time off on holiday, I read 3 books! Did lots of playing with my new camera and did a little exercise. Ok the exercise was a little bit of a fail, I did know where near enough but I did some.

Goals for June

I have two weeks off before I start my new job so lots of house bits to fit into that time.

Decorating – I want to decorate the hall and give the bathroom a little freshen up. I’ve a few other bits and pieces to do but they’re the main projects.

Film, film, film – I really want to get ahead with Youtube, scheduling lots of content for those first few weeks in my new job.

Read – what with going on holiday it was easy to read lots, I loved it and want to continue to do so back home more than I have been. Just grabbing half an hour here and there.

It’s going to be another big month for us here I am so excited to start my new job I will report back and let you know how it goes.
