As 2017 draws to a close I can help but feel nostalgic and want to look back on the year that was.
2017 was an amazing year for us as a family I have made so many memories with the children I never want to forget.
When I think back over some of the things we have done and the trips we have taken I can’t believe we fit it all into one year.
I wouldn’t want to create an unrealistic perfect picture so with the good always comes some bad. Family strains really got down at points over this year. Yet as we reach this fresh start I feel as though a weight has been lifted from me. I have realised I can’t always help people and when enough is enough I will just know.
Family is a funny thing, it brings an eternal love and a bond you can’t shake but when a relationship brings you nothing but stress and upset it is best to take a step back, blood or not. As doom and gloom as that all sounds I am actually feeling really positive about the situation and am looking forward to a year with good people around me.
For now here is a look back at our 2017..
My favourite way to capture our memories is through photo and film so it was really hard to narrow down the hundreds to find these few. Highlights for us include a trip to Ladram bay, A wet and wild Camp Bestival, long summer walks making the most of our national trust passes, holiday’s to Gran Canaria and the Dominican republic, visiting family in Cornwall twice, a girls only trip to London. What a year we have had, bring on 2018 for more fun, more laughs and more great times!
