From time to time I try and remember the days before Paw Patrol, the days when I didn’t spend my time humming the theme song or rounding up my children by saying ‘to the lookout pups’. It’s been so long that the show has been in our lives I really can’t quite remember a time without it.
Maisy was the first to show an interest closely followed by Bella and most recently Lottie has found a love for chase and the gang. It’s one of those tv shows I really don’t mind them watching either, as far as kids shows goes it’s not too annoying and it always has a nice happy little story line I’ll take it over Peppa any day!
I was recently asked if the girls would like to test out some of the Paw Patrol eZee Beads, knowing what huge fans they are I really didn’t have to think twice about taking up the offer.
The pack comes with everything you need to create your favourite characters, the tray, all the beads and the stencils to follow. It was one of those rainy day activities you can get out at a moments notice and will keep the kids busy for hours.
I loved that Lottie could join in with this, more often than not we find she’s too young but with supervision she sat for so long matching the beads to the colours. It was great for supporting colour recognition and developing her fine motor skills.
Once all the beads are in place on the try you simple spray with water and leave for a few hours until it has set. Impatient children will not like playing the waiting game FYI they never do! The longer you leave it the stronger it’ll be though.
After a few hours it is time to move their creation from the tray – I did this bit as the kids would have just ruined it. I did find it a little bit fiddly it was well and truely stuck on the tray at first but after some wiggling around it was free. Perhaps I was a little over generous when spraying the water I’m not sure.
The girls had so much fun making these it was really simple and bar the odd stay bead it was mess free!
I have a set to give away to one of you guys if you would like to be in with the chance of winning please enter below.
