When the girls were babies, I felt the need to keep little bits along the way, first baby grow, little hats and socks, even the odd toy it’s nice to keep those little trinkets to remind you of those baby days. As the get older it becomes a little harder, every item of clothing ends up with a drink down it or grass stains, there toys are no longer cute little teddies they’re big old clumps of plastic that they tend to vandalise with felt tip and stickers (please tell me I’m not alone here).
I wanted something I could keep forever, something that isn’t huge and when I look at in years to come will remind me of those toddler days. When Cleancut Wood asked if I would like to create a personalised stool for the girls I thought it would be perfect!
The tristool has been designed to be pretty much indestructible and that’s down to the thick solid oak construction and through-tenon leg joints which have no screws, nails or other fixings meaning no matter what it gets put through it stays in one piece – which is just as well with my little daughters.
I love it, you just know when you have a quality product that has been built to last by people that are truly passionate about their craft. The girls love it, they love that each of their names are on it, it makes it special for them. Their favourite thing to do with it is use it to sneak an extra biscuit from the kitchen side when I’m not looking, this is not my favourite function of the stool but hey kids will be kids!
Ordering the stool online was super easy, Cleancut Wood have a great range of products that make lovely gifts, having simple steps to personalise takes out the hassle I had my stool ready to order within a couple of minutes, they also have an amazing team behind the scenes that kept me up to date with my order along the way. It’s the personal touch that makes such a lovely service.
So you can try it out for your self Cleancut Wood have asked me to give you guys the chance to win one of their personalised rulers. Just in time for the new school year, enter via the gleam midget below. Good luck!
