Beautiful Bouquets with Postabloom

Beautiful Bouquets with Postabloom

I love a fresh vase of flowers, it is something I have only really started to appreciate in the last couple of years before then I never really got the fuss, flowers just seemed to die on me and then I’d be stuck with dead bunch until I actually got round to binning them.

I think now I am in my new house (say new I have been here over a year)  there is the perfect spot in my kitchen for a nice vase in the window. I seem to spend half my life in the kitchen cleaning or cooking so it makes sense to have something pretty to look at!

This week I received a rather beautiful bunch from Postabloom. Postabloom is the recently launched new iPhone app that allows you to send flowers via Royal Mail through a letterbox it takes away the possibility of the recipient not being in and missing their bouquet arriving.

The app itself is really simple to navigate once you have made yourself a profile you can order flowers with just a few clicks to be delivered anywhere in the UK with a standard 1-3 days delivery time – mine came the next day so it is a really speedy service.

The flowers arrived in this box, I was actually annoyed my post man knocked on the door rather than post them as I really wanted to see if they would get through the letter box. Obviously as soon as he was out of view I redelivered my own flowers and yes they did fit HA!

Each flower is wrapped in netting to keep in in shape and avoid any breakages mid transit. Mine all arrived perfectly intact.

I am no flower arranger as you can tell but I still think they look super pretty. The care instructions advise flowers will look their best once in water for about an hour.

I received the cloud 9 letter box bouquet (£20.99 + delivery) which is a mixture of white roses and pink carnations simple but so pretty. They have a selection of different bouquets with a variety of different styles and flowers used so you are bound to find a bunch perfect for your self or a loved one.

A few days on and the flowers are lasting really well the roses have started to wilt a little but then they always do. I was really impressed with the service, main pros being it was quick, easy to use and convenient.

Do you want to give Postabloom a try for yourself? They have very kindly offered all my readers 20% off their first order when you use the code EVERYTHINGMUMMY at the checkout.

I love these! I would’ve done exactly the same thing and tried to repost, haha! I love that you can watch them bloom, as opposed to buying them full bloom, means you will get longer from them too x

Oooh I love this! Such a clever idea. I couldn’t get home for Mothers Day on Sunday, if I’d known about this I would have posted my Mum some flowers x
