On Friday evening I went too an Arbonne event for the first time I have heard of the products before but didn’t really know much about them..
If I say the word parabens or mineral-oil to you do you have any idea what they are? – no neither did I but have since learnt these are two ingredients that are added to our general cosmetic products which can have seriously bad effects on our health. How often do you look on the back of your moisturiser and see what your supposedly natural product actually contains a ton of fillers and words we can’t even pronounce let alone actually know what they are and I put these products not only on my skin but my children’s- that is quite scary.
Fact time – if you apply a product to your skin it takes 26 seconds(!) to get into your blood stream.
I won’t lie since the event my eyes have really been open I have been checking the products I use and researching more online about what is actually in my products.
These are the things that Arboone are passionate about changing, Arbonne is a 35 year old Swiss formulated health, wellness and beauty company. All products are vegan certified, gluten free and free from artificial colours, fragrances, preservatives and is mineral oil and paraben free.
The event it self was a lot of fun I bought along a bunch of blogging friends to the lovely salon absolutely fabulous to find out more about Arbonne, we got chatting with Nicola and Tracy it was great to see two people so passionate about the brand.
But it didn’t feel pressurised just a fun atmosphere to learn, chat and even get your nails done a little bit of pampering is something all of us mums need some more of, we all took away some samples which I have been loving and now have a wish list growing each say of the products I need in my life!
Tracy has been kind enough to give one of my lovely readers the chance to win one of the best selling Arbonne primers worth £27, the primer has been featured in vogue 3 times and voted number one primer for 3 years running in the UK Beauty awards beating the likes of MAC and smash box.
To be in with the chance of winning just follow the rafflecopter instructions below, the competition will run until midnight on August 25th 2015 one winner will then be selected at random and contacted via email.

I look for good value for money and ones which perform well and last a while
I tend to look for organic, natural products that have not been tested on animals. However I have medical conditions that tend to make me have adverse reaction to a lot of products. It’s good when I find one that I am able to use, like Arbonne.
