Ever since Trolls burst onto our screens back in 2016 my daughters have been obsessed! We were so lucky to be invited along to the UK Premier it was such a special day and troll fever has been rife ever since.
We’re always singing the songs, the DVD is still a firm favourite and the girls have a new found obsession with scrap booking – Poppy I am blaming you for that one!
So when asked if I knew any little girls who might like to review some of the newest Troll toys my thought immediately went to Bella, my biggest Troll’s fan. We were very kindly gifted the POD’ular Tree Playset and the Hair In The Air Poppy Doll to share our thoughts.
POD’ular Tree Playset
This playset is designed to give little trolls fans the chance to dive into their own vibrant trolls town and let their imaginations run wild with 4 different hanging pods and a fun zip line you can send your trolls whizzing down.
Bella has enjoyed playing with this playset so much over the past few weeks; it’s definitely been her go to toy after school. I love how bright and colourful it is, it really does have that magical trolls feel to it.
The playset comes with a mini Poppy figurine and other characters are available to buy separately but at £39.99 for the POD’ular Tree Playset I would have liked to see more than one character included, It would give children more ways to play. Bella has already asked for the other characters to go with the set for her birthday but if you were to purchase in the future I would advise buying them too.
Overall it’s a great toy, at 40cm tall and roughly 60cm wide it is one of those toys you need to find a home for but as it is so bight and colourful it looks quite nice in the children’s bedroom. It took less than 5 minutes to pop together and doesn’t require any batteries which is always a winner in my book.
Hair In The Air Poppy Doll
The Trolls impressive locks are a huge part in the film with everyone wishing they could whip their hair as well as princess Poppy so the hair in the air doll is great fun.
You can watch her hair light up and you comb through it and hear fun songs and sound effects when you press the button on her dress.
Bella has loved combing through her hair and showing how it lights up, as well as giving princess poppy some great new hair do’s.
It’s a fun little toy that will provide any budding hair dresser tons of entertainment. The Hair In The Air Poppy Doll is available for £28.99 it comes with the comb and tiara accessories, requires 2xAA batteries.
