London, Work & Coffee…

So at the start of 2017 I decided to stop creating my week in pictures blog post each week. I figured most of it was up on Instagram anyway but I miss it. I miss documenting our week the whole reason I started writing everything mummy was to share with you everything mummy. It’s not all pretty, it’s not all glamorous but I wanted a new way to write up my week so here goes; London, Work & Coffee the week that was….

Monday

Sandbanks Beach

Back to school after half term for the big girls, Monday’s are always a day Lottie is at home with me. The sun was shining down on Dorset so the newly turned three year old and I hit the beach. We paddled, collected shells, climbed and ran up and down until she could run no more.
Monday night the girls went to their dads as I had to be up ridiculously early the following day, I spent the evening eating pasta and watching Peaky Blinders on Netflix with ma boy!

Tuesday

Tuesday started at 5am; I caught the train up to London for a Mother’s day brunch with I Just Love It and Historical newspapers. The early start was so worth while I got to catch up with some blogging friends and connect with a new brand.

Events and meetings like this are the thing I love about blogging the most; I love meeting new people and experiencing new things as cheesy as it sounds it’s these things, pushing my boundaries that help conquer my anxiety.
I was back in time to get the monsters from school and nursery, dinner and an early night was on the cards for us all! I’ve been vlogging all week but I particularly love Tuesday’s video the girls are tooooo cute at the end..

Wednesday

Wednesday – work day. I spent roughly 5-6 hours staring at my laptop, not getting all that much actually done. I did manage to write up a post about our trip to Christchurch Harbour Hotel and I finally got my tax return in. I know it’s nearly a month late but it was and error with HMRC so I am in the clear(phew). It was a relief to get it done.

After school I took the girls into the library for an hour, they love it as the quite often see friends from school in their. I love it as they have a cafe that does great cake!
My friend popped over to see the kids and have a catch up, Maisy put on a show for us all about jelly – it’s going to take the West End by storm. With the kids in bed we had a good old gossip over a glass of wine.

Thursday

Thursday’s I have Lottie at home, storm Doris had hit making it so windy outside so we opted for a day of baking treats instead. Raisin flapjack and banana and chocolate muffins – delicious. Some how after this we both found ourselves taking a little nap on the sofa. I do love a lazy day with my girl.

After school madness soon ruined our peace and quiet, Bella came out of school with this creation and facebook have been trying to guess what it could be..

Friday

I headed straight into town after the school run to meet up for coffee and chat a bit business with a friend and run some errands. I worked the afternoon and by work you know I mean watched youtube….

The girls were off to their dads again for the night so off I headed with some friends to watch the new Fifty Shades of Grey film. I heard it was really good before hand and it was okay the whole story line is a bit manic in this one but the sex is there and that’s I guess the thing most people are intrigued by.

Saturday

I am writing this on a slow Saturday morning whilst Ed Sheeran plays; unintentionally my bed has become my office for the day. I must get up and find food soon as my stomach is starting to growl at me.
My babies will be home this afternoon I foresee a movie evening with ice cream on the cards for us!

I stopped doing my 365 as just running out of hours in the day and have another job now too. Looks like a great week, the Christchurch Harbour Hotel looked amazing. I am afraid to say I have never been despite my Dad living right behind it!!

Busy busy week! I wish I’d done a 365 when my girls were born so I remembered all the little tiny details.

Sounds a great week! I take part in the project365 but only do it on Instagram, I found it too hard trying to write it up each week. It is so lovely to have it on your blog though.
