Lottie was recently very kindly sent the Toddlebike2 to give a good test drive, she always watches her big sisters as they charge off on their scooters and bikes and has been just dying to get involved. She often has a go on theirs and I push her up and down but for a fiercely independent little lady she just needed that little bit more.
Lottie was so excited to see her new bike when it arrived and I was so excited to see that it required no assembly it was just remove the tag and off she went, it made a nice change to the usual hour of trying to construct items with inpatient toddler eyes staring from a distance. As it was a dry autumn day we thought we’d make the most of it and headed straight to the park with scooters and our new Bike for a play.
The Toddlebike2 is great for taking out and about as it so compact and light weight at just 0.8kg it’s not a burden for me to carry when in standard 2 year old fashion Lottie just abandons her bike to go look at a leaf.
She loved being able to chase after her sisters in the park on her bike and it was great for me, I wasn’t breaking my back carrying her about or worrying about her falling off a bike or scooter that is far to big for her little legs. The Toddlebike2 is a great for that in-between stage when they aren’t quite confident enough for a balance bike or a pedal bike but they want to get involved it has been widely accepted by cyclists and the cycling media as being the best first step towards independent riding.
The Toddle Bike 2 is aimed at children from 18 months, all materials are CE-approved, TUV certified, and manufactured in Europe. The large wheels mean it can handle most terrains making it suitable for indoor and outdoor play, being made from hard wearing plastic make the Tooddlebike2 easy to clean and all weather proof! It is avalible in three fun colours; racing red, pinky pink and a midnight blue. Toddlebike2 RRP’s at £23.95.
Lottie and I both give the Toddlebike2 a big thumbs up and for that reason we are also giving one away. Enter via the gleam widget below to be in with the chance of winning your very own bike!
