Stomping through the woods in new wellies

Thursdays are a day I take off each week, Lottie is off nursery and we have no prior commitments to groups so it is our special Mummy and Lottie day. Life is so hectic with work, school runs and feeling like everyday I’m running here there and everywhere it is so nice to have one day that I spend quality time with my youngest girl.

Last Thursday we did some shopping, Lottie’s wellies were completely destroyed so we set out on a mission to find some new ones, after a quick pop into next and a stop for lunch we had the perfect pair and took them out for a stomp in the woods!

Lottie chose these and I love them, the green is so cute but they’re still kept girly with a hint of pink stripes. Having the little handles on the sides are great for little ones as it keeps them really easy for them to slip on.

Walking in the woods in autumn is so much more fun for curious little children, Lottie loved searching though the leaves looking for sticks and conkers.

IMG_1193Only a few months ago Lottie wanted me to carry her about everywhere, she has gotten so much better with actually walking now the novelty of her new special boots helped on this occasion it was all about stomping in the crunchy leave, It’s lovely to just have a mooch with her, not worrying about a lugging a push chair around and not risk my back killing me from carrying a fidgety little two year old!

Love our Thursday fun days!

That looks like a fun trip. By exploring the woods in the fall, you get to see the beautiful fall flowers and foliage.

Those are pretty cool boots, no wonder she was happy wondering/ crunching around in them. Your Fun Thursdays sound lovely, it’s so good to have some one-on one time isn’t it. These pictures are all gorgeous Amy, your baby girl is getting so big. Thank you so much for liking up to My Captured Moment hon xx
