4 Simple Christmas Crafts For Toddlers

We’ve been getting in the christmas spirit with some seasonal crafty recently, I am sharing with 4 simple christmas crafts which are great for toddlers and preschoolers to get stuck in with. They’re super simple and made with materials I am sure you will already have hidden in the craft box.

First up are these lollipop stick decorations; I’ve simply glued 4 colourful lollipop sticks together in the shape of a star using silicone glue as alot stronger. Allow to dry and then the kids can decorate with anything you have in the house – glitter, beads even stickers. We’ve used a mixture of buttons and glitter glue, add some string and when it’s dry you have a sweet little decoration for the tree.

Salt dough ornaments; I’ve shared a full how to on these salt dough hand prints as I was so pleased with how they turned out. It was such a simple activity if you don’t fancy hand prints how about using some cookie cutters and making stars or trees?

Spoon angels; I bought these little kits from wilko for a quid! The girls loved making them. You can easily make them with out the kit using any wooden spoons you have laying around. Simply cut out shapes for the children using felt and card to turn their spoon into and angel. Add a pipe cleaner halo and some detail and they look fab!
Paper chains; so simple to create and they give you a lovely decoration for the home. using scrap paper just cut into strips and loop them together securing with a little glue keep going until its long enough to hang/ you run out of paper! Make sure you allow enough time for the glue to dry before you hang them up.
