If you read my recent post blogfest you’ll know I was heading off this weekend to a blogging conference hosted by the lovely ladies at Mumsnet, you’ll also know I was incredibly nervous and up until even the night before I was still questioning whether or not I’d actually make it! But come saturday morning with a tummy full of butterflies and not knowing at all what to expect I hopped (or more accurately dragged myself) on to a train at 5:28 and headed off to London – yes trains run at that unsightly hour, who knew!?
After not even 6 months of writing this blog I threw myself in at the deep end and I’m so pleased I did I had such an amazing time and met some truly lovely people! Putting faces to the names of people I feel like I knew so well through their blogs was definitely the highlight of my experience, there is far to many to list but you all know who you are. There were some who I didn’t get to meet and I’m gutted about that but the day just flew by so quickly!
|group selfie be rude not too!
The panels and masterclasses were brilliant all the speakers were so inspiring and I came out of each feeling as though I’d learnt so much, even 24 hours later its still all whizzing round my brain trying to sink in, thank god I wrote some notes. After the power of writing panel I felt like I just needed to go and write a book – watch this space coming to you in approximately 20 years!
The Youtube masterclass was properly where I learnt the most so many amazing tips, I’ve been toying with the idea of videos for a while and now I feel I have some knowledge to actually understand it all.
Finally Lucy Potter at the end was just fricken hilarious and had us all in stitches #PenisBeaker that is all!
