The lodgers

This past week my life has been turned on its head we have taken in some new lodgers and they are driving me spare.
I have been driven out of my own home due to there bad habits and am now at my wits end.

They go by the names of Jerry, Mickey and Danger.

And of course they are mice Ekkkk!

I thought the problem had disappeared last week so went back home and on a bleaching rampage but oh no the little blighters were having me on and have decided to make my lovely family home their own. So off I’ve gone 10 mins down the road to infest someone else’s house with my clan, and moved into the in-laws spare room. Yes all 5 of us snug to say the least.

If I hear the line ‘they are scared of you than you are of them’ I may cry if they were more scared then how come I’m the one who’s moved out and they’re back home watching netflix and eating all my biccy’s.

My partner has now been nicknamed Tom possibly the worst mouse catcher in history and the big guns were called in – hello pest control. What is with these guys, you know having an infestation in you house is not something one wants to shout about and he rocks up in a ruddy great van with it plastered all over for all and sundry to see, thanks – thanks a bunch.

Marching orders have now been given I want my house back!

The least they could have done was turn up in a plain van! But you know what they say, if you get rid of higher they just nip across the road and move in there!! I’m not actually sure this is fact, by the way…. Hope you get to move back into a mouse-free zone soon! X

Ahhh… honey. I really feel for you. I hope it all gets sorted out soon. And why is it that when you don’t want anyone to see something…then the biggest van with the largest writing pulls up outside your house? Hugs Mrs H xxxx

I would be out too! My grandad once had a mouse run up the leg of his pj’s when he was asleep so obviously we don’t scare them that much!! x

I don’t blame you for getting out especially with the girls around. The council are usually great at discrete pest control and cheaper too if they return – hoping they don’t x

Amy, I really feel for you because I have a massive, uncontrollable fear… no phobia of anything mouse, rat, hamster or gerbil like. I literally freak out if I see a small mouse on the underground, so I can’t imagine how I’d be if I knew they were in my house.
You’re so lucky you have family down the road, my family is 5 hours away, so we’d be stuck!! Great post though, I’m glad you can make light of this nasty situation. You’ll have a lovely new home soon, so I’ll expect lots of DIY and home improvement posts.

Thanks for linking up to #SundayStars – and co-hosting with me on our first week xxx
